Mornin

Well still no word fron the NAACP.  I suppose that I shouldn't hold my breath waiting to hear from them.  I'm sitting here waiting to go to an appointment, and listening to Neil Bortz.  You guys should really listen to this guy.  I haven't found anything he says to not make sense.  You can listen to him live here on WSB out of Atlanta.

I'll be back on later, after my appointment.  Should have something interesting to post about...but then again you never know about me.

Long time since I posted....

I know it has been a long time since I posted but here we go.  Can someone out there please tell me why the NAACP is so hell bent on saying that the Tea Party is nothing but racist?  They have used the race card for so long that it has lost all of it's effect.  Here is my take on this.  The NAACP is what is wrong with this country.  If it wern't for people like them I think there wouldn't be nearly as many race issues.  What is the mission of the NAACP?  Here it is taken directly from their website.

So here it is with my take on it written in red.

The mission of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People is to ensure the political, educational, social, and economic equality of rights of all persons and to eliminate race-based discrimination.

Vision Statement

The vision of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People is to ensure a society in which all individuals have equal rights without discrimination based on race. If this is what they are all about then why do we have these pople outand about spewing hate filled speech?  With everything that is out there regarding them, and their acts, it seems to me that they are propagating racism just so they have a purpose out there.

Objectives

The following statement of objectives is found on the first page of the NAACP Constitution - the principal objectives of the Association shall be:

•To ensure the political, educational, social, and economic equality of all citizens See above.  Self preservation seems to be their goal...and why not?  The monetary contributions keep them all living pretty well off.

•To achieve equality of rights and eliminate race prejudice among the citizens of the United States How can we achieve equality when there are people out there that belong to this organization beeding hate and racial prejudice?

•To remove all barriers of racial discrimination through democratic processes I am not even going to comment on this one.  See anti Tea Party propaganda.

•To seek enactment and enforcement of federal, state, and local laws securing civil rights Seems like this one is being done.

•To inform the public of the adverse effects of racial discrimination and to seek its elimination You can not preach on the adverse effects when you are posting things like this on your website.  In August 2009 the state successfully passed the Racial Justice Act allows a defendant facing a capital trial or an inmate sentenced to death to use evidence showing a pattern of racial disparity as a way of challenging racial injustice in the death penalty. All this does is to allow criminals a loop-hole to get out of the crimes they commit by saying that they commited the crime only because they have been discriminated against.

•To educate persons as to their constitutional rights and to take all lawful action to secure the exercise thereof, and to take any other lawful action in furtherance of these objectives, consistent with the NAACP's Articles of Incorporation and this Constitution. Again see their "Victories page".  They are saying that the new health care deform plan forced upon the American public was ensuring that health care is a civil right.  How?  Where in the United States Constitution does it say anything about healthcare.  Just wait and see....there will be many problems that arise when this sad excuse for a law comes into full swing.  Do you think that it is a coincidence that it takes effect in 2014.....2 years after Obama's first term is over?  I don't think so.

I plan on sending a copy of this to the NAACP and see what kind of response that I get....I'll post it here.

Unions

Ok...Now I was all set up to have a good day and spend a little time writing about the NAACP.  That was all changed when I went to Neil Bortz website and watched a clip from Fox News.  It seems our Great Ruler has decided that it was a good idea to report to the UN that the American people's aversion to unionization, is a civil rights violation.  Ok.....moonbat syndrome anyone?  Here is the problem with all of this.  The people do not want to pay for a group of people to protect our rights as workers.  Is this not what we pay taxes for?  Isn't the government supposed to protect our rights?  So here we are with another attempt at the Left to delegate responsibility and take the fallout away from the Democrats.  In other words the Left wants someone to blame when things go wrong.  Do you think this is right?  Fair?  I imagine you would if you are one of those government leaches out there.

Here is the problem I am having.  The leader of this country is supposed to represent the ENTIRE population of the US.  Instead here is a ruler that instead of manning up and taking action against the problem, he acts like a spoiled child.  He met opposition, and ran off to tell his mommy (The UN) that the bad people are keeping him from doing what he wants.  So now where are we at?  A laughing stock of the world.  Our fearless ruler has yet again done something stupid.  I can't wait to see what the NAACP and the ACLU have to say about this one.

Mosque....

Here lately all I hear is how the opposition to the Ground Zero Mosque, is hatred towards Muslims.  How?  No one is telling these fruitcakes that they can't build this place, just that they don't want it built so close to a place where so many of their friends, family, and countrymen died in a horrible, horrible attack.  An attack by Muslim extremists.  I don't see the problem here, and so I suppose that makes me just another hatemonger.  So be it!  This country was founded on religious freedom, and I firmly believe that every individual has the right to do just that.  I have said it once, and I will say it again.  You have the right to freedom of religion, but for the life of me I can not find where in the Constitution it says we have the Freedom of Real Estate.  If I am wrong please feel free to correct me on this.

The current administration is spending your money on sending Imam Fazul and his family overseas "to bridge the US and Islam" while we sit idle, and let it happen.  Why are we allowing this to happen?  I am not going to sit here and post links to other sites, I want you do research those yourselves.  This Imam is busy telling others that we are to blame for 9/11 due to our past terrorist actions on other countries.  WHAT?!?!?!  He claims that the bombing of Japan after Pearl Harbor was an act of terrorism, as well as our actions in Afghanistan and Iraq.  That these wars are terrorist acts, used to further our political agenda.  And this is what your president is flying all over the world on your tab.

Dear President Obama,

My name is Harold Estes, approaching 95 on December 13 of this year. People meeting me for the first time don't believe my age because I remain wrinkle free and pretty much mentally alert.

I enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1934 and served proudly before, during and after WW II retiring as a Master Chief Bos'n Mate. Now I live in a "rest home" located on the western end of Pearl Harbor allowing me to keep alive the memories of 23 years of service to my country.

One of the benefits of my age, perhaps the only one, is to speak my mind, blunt and direct even to the head man.

So here goes.

I am amazed, angry and determined not to see my country die before I do but you seem hell bent not to grant me that wish.

I can't figure out what country you are the president of. You fly around the world telling our friends and enemies despicable lies like:

" We're no longer a Christian nation"

" America is arrogant" - (Your wife even announced to the world,"America is mean-spirited. " Please tell her to try preaching that nonsense to 23 generations of our war dead buried all over the globe who died for no other reason than to free a whole lot of strangers from tyranny and hopelessness.)

I'd say shame on the both of you but I don't think you like America nor do I see an ounce of gratefulness in anything you do for the obvious gifts this country has given you. To be without shame or gratefulness is a dangerous thing for a man sitting in the White House.

After 9/11 you said," America hasn't lived up to her ideals."

Which ones did you mean? Was it the notion of personal liberty that 11,000 farmers and shopkeepers died for to win independence from the British ? Or maybe the ideal that no man should be a slave to another man that 500,000 men died for in the Civil War ? I hope you didn't mean the ideal 470,000 fathers, brothers, husbands, and a lot of fellas I knew personally died for in WWII, because we felt real strongly about not letting any nation push us around because we stand for freedom.

I don't think you mean the ideal that says equality is better than discrimination. You know the one that a whole lot of white people understood when they helped to get you elected.

Take a little advice from a very old geezer, young man. Shape up and start acting like an American. If you don't, I'll do what I can to see you get shipped out of that fancy rental on Pennsylvania Avenue .You were elected to lead not to bow, apologize and kiss the hands of murderers and corrupt leaders who still treat their people like slaves.

And just who do you think you are telling the American people not to jump to conclusions and condemn that Muslim major who killed 13 of his fellow soldiers and wounded dozens more. You mean you don't want us to do what you did when that white cop used force to subdue that black college professor in Massachusetts who was putting up a fight ? You don't mind offending the police calling them stupid but you don't want us to offend Muslim fanatics by calling them what they are, terrorists.

One more thing. I realize you never served in the military and never had to defend your country with your life but you're the Commander-in-Chief now, son. Do your job. When your battle-hardened field General asks you for 40,000 more troops to complete the mission, give them to him. But if you're not in this fight to win, then get out. The life of one American soldier is not worth the best political strategy you're thinking of.

You could be our greatest president because you face the greatest challenge ever presented to any president. You're not going to restore American greatness by bringing back our bloated economy. That's not our greatest threat. Losing the heart and soul of who we are as Americans is our big fight now. And I sure as hell don't want to think my president is the enemy in this final battle.

Sincerely,

Harold B. Estes

Vacations and idiots

Just how many different vacations does the first family need?  Is it such a good idea to take all of these expensive vacations on the public tab?  Some notable vacations since the current tragedy took office.  There was the trip to the resort in North Carolina to the tune of nearly $100 thousand, the trip to Spain to dine with the king, the mini vacation in Florida, and now a super expensive 10 day vacation at Martha's Vineyard.  So I get that everyone needs some downtime, but this latest getaway is like you being paid to roof someones house and taking a vacation in the middle of it.  Not good at all.  Just my opinion there.

Idiot!  Nancy Pelosi wants to investigate you if you are opposed to building a mosque a three minute walk from ground zero.  What kind of message does this send to voters?  In my opinion it tells me that she is severely mentally disturbed!  And to think that people voted these people into office.  This is just one more example of people in the "ruling class" being drunk on power.  Yes I said ruling class.  Think about it.  What makes a leader?  Now think what makes a ruler. So now we have someone that wants to investigate the money funding the opposition to this Muslim symbol of victory.  They are even saying that the site of the mosque is not at ground zero.  Here is my take.  There should be a federal investigation as to where ALL of the estimated $100 Million is coming from to build this monster.  They don't want that because the Muslim supporters in the government would find out that it comes from questionable sources.  Go figure.  As to the site not being on ground zero?  What would you call it when part of the wreckage (the landing gear) goes through part of the building?  I think that makes it part of ground zero.  I really would like to hear opinions on this one.

I have the next few days off from work, so I'll be posting more tidbits of information on here then.  In the meantime enjoy the video and commentary on this site.  I hope it pisses you off and sets you into action!

Now I have heard it all!

I was just watching a clip on MSNBC of an interview with the Pima County AZ Sheriff.  The reporter had the nerve to call Illegal Aliens, undocumented workers.  What the hell?????  So what next?  That guy that is in my house illegally is now an undocumented visitor?  I have a new word that these people can use.....criminals.  That is what they are, nothing more nothing less.  If you trespass then you are breaking the law and are a criminal, whether it be on private property or crossing the border.  I say bravo Arizona!  I could only wish that more states will adopt the same tough immigration policy.

Something to think about....

At the end of this year the Bush Administration's tax cuts expire, with no hope of being extended by the current administration.  So what then?  There are people out there that are crazy enough to think that just because these corporations are going to have to start paying full taxes again, that our economy will bounce back and the government's national deficit will be reduced.  Not hardly.  Here is what is going to happen.  These businesses, having to pay out more money, are going to start holding onto any revenue, and start making preparations to maintain their current profit margin.  What does this mean for the average American?  Well there is going to be no money to create new jobs, hire new people, or offer better health insurance. This state of suspension, or frozen spending trend, will continue until the economy bounces back.  When will that be?  Will our economy even have a chance if all of the major corporations go into "self preservation" mode?  I am only one person but I really can't see more taxes helping matters.  Government is no different than any other average American household.  If you have a budget, and you only have so much money to work with, then what happens when you go over your budget?  You either go into debt, or you cut spending.  Or government needs to do the latter.

Take a look back in history. What was the major driving force in our separation from England?  Was it not high taxes with little or no representation?  Is this not what we have going on in our government presently?  Still sceptical?  Here are just a few examples.  The American people (according to recent polls) sided with Arizona on tightening our immigration laws.  So what does the Federal Government do?  They sue Arizona to have their new immigration laws repealed.  How is this fair representation?  Another example.  California voted to not allow same sex marriage stating that marriage was a right for only those of the opposite sex.  The people voted no!  Now what happens?  A Supreme Court judge (homosexual at that) decided that their opinion mattered more than the people that reside there, and declared the proposition unconstitutional.  Is this fair representation as well?  And my last example.  Popular vote showed that the American people as a majority, were against the new health care deform legislation.  We all know how that turned out.  This is by far, not a representation of the nations wishes.  Those in the Federal Government are our servants.  We elect them into office to represent our wishes.  Instead we are treated as a parent treats a child, and told what is best for us.  I think it is high time that we let our elected officials know what we want and that it is time they start doing what they were hired for.  In the private sector if you are hired, and do not perform then what happens?  You are replaced!  Perhaps it is time for the government to remember that.

New Computer

My new computer was mailed out yesterday.  I found this out when I called to make sure the replacement was going to be the same or better than the old one.  Well I was getting ready to try and get some sleep and BAM...the computer shows up at my door!  Needless to say so far so good, and I am very happy!  I really dig this snap feature.

On another note.  Yesterday in line-up I received a certificate from the Criminal Justice Standards people saying I met the requirements for the Basic Correctional Officer.  Very nice since the others that received the same award have been with the state for 5 years or more, and I am more than half way to getting my Intermediate Certification!  Seems I am on the right track for success within the DoC!!!!

Sleep....

Ok so here I sit unable to sleep.  I just pulled a 12 hour shift on about 5 hours sleep, and here it is 3 hours after my shift.....and I have to be back at the prison at 5:30 tonight.  Just great.

Here is my rant for the day.  For 2 weeks now I have been fighting with Dell.  My computer decided it wanted to reject it's own motherboard, so the repair tech was here 3 times before he decided that was the issue.  Dell decided to replace my system, but says it will take another 10-21 business days before I can get a new system.  Oddly enough it only takes a week to get a new system when you order one.  I guess that it will be made up by giving me an upgraded system.  I am just afraid of what they call an upgrade.

I have been thinking about this one.....

The other day the Clinton's celebrated the wedding of their daughter to the tune of somewhere between 3 and 5 Million dollars....I find this amazing for several reasons. First off I just can't imagine someone...anyone paying that much for a wedding.  Second and most importantly, how can Hillary Clinton justify this kind of spending?  The current administration, which she is a part of, seems to be all about "spreading the wealth" of the rich among those that didn't earn it.  In the spirit of democratic thinking, the cost of the cake alone could have provided much needed funds for some school district, police department, or other public service.  So lets see, tax more, spend more, give free healthcare to illegals, while we break the backs of the average working class....but we will do that after we spend millions for a 20 min wedding and a 2 hour reception.

There are some good things that might have come from this though.  The tent, cake, set-up and catering all created revenue for some business.  That in turn helps the economy a bit, as well as lets the working class involved eat for another day, keep their home for another month, or pay that bill just before it gets cut off.  So not all bad...but millions on one wedding?!?!?!  Dems seem hell bent on spending and spending, and they can't even seem to stop that in their every day lives.
